Black Egg Crate has many uses in reef aquariums. It can be used as a protective barrier between live rock and the glass bottom of aquariums. Strips can be bent into shape with a heat gun and used as support arches for live rock. The Crate can be used as a frag rack in the tank for growing out coral frags. It can even be used as a cover or shelf in a sump or as a protein skimmer stand.
