The IceCap RO/DI Refillable DI Cartridge (IC-RI-RE100) does not come with DI resin. However, you can save a lot of money by filling your own cartridges with resin such as the IceCap Deionization Resin.
A DI resin filter is necessary to reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) to zero and is the last stage of the water filtration process.
