Supplementing with inorganic nitrogen, such as Seachem Reef Nitrogen, 2 liter, provides a targeted means of increasing nitrogen without also adding phosphate or dissolved organics. A typical nitrate test will show all forms of nitrogen being added by Reef Nitrogen.
Reef Nitrogen is ideally suited for use with a doser to maintain nitrogen at consistent concentration based on your aquarium's unique demand. Seachem Reef Nitrogen is easily dosed manually as well. Ideal nitrogen levels will vary but generally range from 1 — 2 mg/L (4.4 — 8.9 mg/L nitrate).
Use with Seachem Reef Phosphorus to achieve a balance of nitrogen to phosphorus levels for optimal results.
